ollaborators C. HUNTER JOHNSON, musician/composer & J.J. L'HEUREUX, renowned Painter, Photographer, Adventurer & Naturalist, present Penguins to Polar Bears with music videos & stills at Clickers & Flickers' annual Halloween photo-networking dinner.  This event will also be C&F's 6th Year of participating in the Daniel Pearl World Music Festival, honoring the late Wall Street Journalist & trained violinist, Daniel Pearl. (Halloween costumes are optional, but encouraged).  RSVP required in advance.  Pay Pal available at www.ClickersAndFlickers.com

Hunter & J.J. will take you on an auditory & visual expedition to visit the residents at both Polar Regions.  The most notable being penguins and elephant seals from the Southern Ocean with walrus and polar bears from the North.  Many of their favorite projects are putting together short adventure videos with music for the Expedition Company they often travel with.  Upon returning to their Venice Beach studio, Johnson composed music for their various projects.

J.J. was C&F's honored guest speaker in August, 2014 and presented "Faces for the Southern Ocean" with her exquisite photograph of penguins gracing the cover of C&F's Summer 2014 magazine.  Since 2000, J.J. has returned to the Antarctica every season to collect images for her extensive digital database.  Her travels have resulted in two books.  She has exhibited throughout galleries and museums in the U.S. and abroad.

Hunter Johnson was born and raised in Southeast Asia.  From a young age he was exposed to the rich music traditions of Thailand, Vietnam and China.  One often hears themes that might be associated with these areas in his compositions.  His past projects include title tracks “Hello World,” on the Hello Kitty Album for Sanrio and Cherry Lane Music, and “Antarctica Suite,” the video soundtrack for “South Georgia Island, a Southern Ocean Paradise.”  This video has been shown in film festivals internationally and was winner of best wildlife documentary in the St. Petersburg Ocean Film Festival, Russia.

Hunter composes music for various artists working everywhere from the Los Angeles Opera to Country/Rock Venues.  Hunter recently wrote “Heart of Dixie” and “Road to Alabama” for the SoZo USA China Partnership. This included writing background music for Cirque du Soleil sand artist Erika Chen for her sand painting production.
