AUL ZOLLO, Senior Editor, American Songwriter, Editor of Bluerailroad.com (A Magazine for the Arts) is originally from Chicago. Best known for his portraits, he’s been working on a volume of work called Angeleno. Zollo will present “Photographing Humankind Through an Angeleno Window” at Clickers & Flickers' Halloween photo-networking dinner, best described as a "Mini Photo Festival", Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Halloween photo-networking dinner. (Halloween costumes are optional, but encouraged). This event will also be C&F's 5th Year of participating in the Daniel Pearl World Music Festival, honoring the late Wall Street Journalist & trained violinist, Daniel Pearl. $59/$65 - RSVP required in advance. Zollo's portraits encompass all people that exist in Los Angeles, which includes all humankind, from those with nothing who live on the streets, to those who are international icons.
He has had his work displayed at galleries in <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles> Los Angeles,<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Costa_Mesa> Costa Mesa and <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City> New York City, including Cannibal Flower, the Infusion Gallery, Soho Dream, Nocturne, Valjenna, Memphis Café, Joe's Diner and The Songwriting School of Los Angeles. He has contributed frequent photo essays to Campus Circle magazine as well as portraits in American Songwriter, People, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The Chicago Tribune. He was awarded with 2008 Man of Hollywood award for his work on Hollywood, and a 2014 International Street Photography award by Duncan Miller Gallery for his photo “John at the Roosevelt.” Zollo mentored with his friend, the legendary Henry Diltz, and is collaborating with Henry on his memoirs. Zollo has also written several books, including Songwriters On Songwriting and Hollywood Remembered.
Clickers & Flickers’ photo-networking dinners are open to the public. Amateurs, professionals & non-photographs are welcome. Reservations & payment required (5) days in advance.
